Country hunted is approximately 8 x 15 miles in Hunterdon County, NJ. It is principally crop land on rolling terrain, though hardwood forests still prevail from the Sourland Mountains to the Delaware River. Paneling consists of coops, rails and natural panels.

Country has 3 distinct territories. The home country is in the heart of Amish farmlands in Lancaster Co., PA and is paneled with coops, board fences and post and rails. The Fair Hill country straddles the Mason Dixon line between PA & MD, and is primarily small coverts with rolling hills for open galloping. The third country at Gibson's is near the Susquehanna between deep ravines and open farmland.

Country in North Georgia is about 36 square miles - wooded- in Coweta and Meriwether counties. South Georgia is very open - large tracts of land - in Dooly and Sumter counties. Alabama: Wadley and White Plains with some woodland and rolling farmland for livestock.

The country is paneled with coops and post-and-rails. Due to the vast and contiguous nature of the main country, most meets begin from the hunt barn and kennels.

Country Various large cattle ranches consisting of grass range, stubble fields, mountainous foothills, river bottoms, often steep, rugged, rocky terrain, average 5500 foot elevation. Ground is often frozen mid-season, requiring sharp shoes with snow poppers. No jumping required, as most fixtures are vast unfenced contiguous ranches. Western attire and tack acceptable. Average hunts range from 12 to 25 miles covered in 3 to 5 hours.

Natural obstacles include drops, ditches, gulches, down timber and man made jumps in fence lines and gates for non-jumpers Almost always two fields: fast jumping and a slower, non-jumping.

Country lies in Clarke County, in Warren County north of Front Royal, in Shenandoah County north of Route 675, in Frederick County south of Route 50 and west of Route 11 in Virginia and in Jefferson County, West Virginia. It is mainly rolling farmland with open pastureland and orchards. Jumps are chicken coops, some tiger traps, post-and-rails with a few stone walls.

The fences have coops for access. The Flint Hills hunt country is approximately 10 miles x 10 miles and about 30,000 acres located on three adjoining ranches. Access is through gates - no jumping. Requires a fit horse. The terrain is open pasture with hills and valleys.

The third comprises about 8 by 8 miles in the valley of the Little Colorado River near Meteor Crater. All hunt country is essentially unpopulated and sparsely fenced with few dirt roads or tracks.

Country is located in central and upper Bucks County along the Delaware River. In central Bucks, where the kennels are located, the townships of Buckingham, Solebury and Warwick are hunted. In upper Bucks, the townships of Durham, Springfield, Tinicum and Nockamixon are hunted. Both are hill and dale countries mainly devoted to farming. Many of the ridges are deeply wooded for miles and rides have been cut through. Valleys are interlaced with streams and water jumps are frequently encountered. Jumps are post-and-rails and chicken coops in wire fencing. A stout three-quarter bred is preferred.

Panels include aikens, logs, ditches and other natural obstacles; none exceed 3' and most are optional. Any sound horse is suitable.

Country is approximately 6,000 to 8,000 acres in southwest Iowa. A beautiful area with vast amounts of grassland and wooded acres. Fordable streams and many ponds and small lakes. The country is well paneled with gates for non-jumpers. A fit, hardy horse is recommended. Water is readily available in streams, ponds, and low lying rivers.

Country is bisected by the James River and ranges from rolling open meadows to steep ravines and spurs of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Many areas are heavily wooded. There are coops, post-and-rails, logs and some stone walls as jumps in the cultivated areas. Many creeks lace through the territory. On the south side of the James River in Buckingham County west of Route 15 all the way to, in some parts, Appomattox County. This land is mostly rolling hills and woodlands.

Country is approximately 12 miles wide by 25 miles long and is located in SW corner of Lancaster County, PA and extreme SW portion of Chester County, PA. The area is paneled with coups and logs and post and rail. The Octorara River Valley into the Goat Hill Serpentine offers moderate terrain while the Susquehanna River Hills offers some beautiful cliffs (that foxes favor) as well as open farmland. With the open fields and rocky narrow trails, any breed of horse can be both challenged and accommodated on any given hunting day.
