The MFHA Foundation is hosting a one-day Judging Seminar on the Saturday before the Virginia Hound Show.

During Virginia Hound Show weekend in May, Marty Wood MFH, Live Oak Hounds, will be presenting a judging seminar.

As one of the most experienced and respected foxhound judges in North America, Mr. Wood has judged at every MFHA sanctioned hound show in America and Canada and most puppy shows.  He is the only American to judge the prestigious Peterborough Hound Show in England.

Mr. Wood’s talents as an instructor are well known. He takes the time to explain in detail the hows and whys of judging, then goes farther and give participants tips on showing hounds.  His famous Live Oak Hounds are known throughout the country and England for their many championships at America's best shows.

Mr. Wood will give a powerful, visual presentation. Anyone interested in judging or just learning what to look for in hound conformation and showing must attend. The workshop is open to all MFHA subscribing members. Casual Attire (i.e., jeans or khakis and polo).
