Country "Drag" Country hunted is 2,200 acres in Aiken's Hitchcock Woods - uncultivated rolling woodlands, sandy open fields, crossed by 18 miles of drag lines. Jumps are Aiken fences. Also several "live" hunt fixtures outside of Aiken - Timberlands, woods, sandy open fields, not paneled.

Country hunted is approximately 8 x 15 miles in Hunterdon County, NJ. It is principally crop land on rolling terrain, though hardwood forests still prevail from the Sourland Mountains to the Delaware River. Paneling consists of coops, rails and natural panels.

Hounds went out 76 times last season.

Country has 3 distinct territories. The home country is in the heart of Amish farmlands in Lancaster Co., PA and is paneled with coops, board fences and post and rails. The Fair Hill country straddles the Mason Dixon line between PA & MD, and is primarily small coverts with rolling hills for open galloping. The third country at Gibson's is near the Susquehanna between deep ravines and open farmland.

Country consists of 35,000 acres of rolling grassland approximately ten miles from east to west and five miles from north to south plus three separate fixtures with approximately 15,000 acres. The country contains two north-south creeks. All jumps are coops.

Country is approximately 30 by 30 miles. Meets are held in various territories, including the kennels in Dauphin County, and other areas in Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster, York and Perry counties. All territory is paneled with post-and-rail and board fences, chicken coops and stone walls. The country is generally rolling grassland interspersed with woodlands.

Country is approximately 12 by 15 miles. Rolling fields with woodland coverts, dashed with streams and ponds - with large timber tracts on the outer areas. The country is paneled with coops and post-and-rails. Due to the vast and contiguous nature of the main country, most meets begin from the hunt barn and kennels.

Country is composed of various large cattle ranches consisting of grass range, stubble fields, mountainous foothills, river bottoms, often steep, rugged, rocky terrain, average 5500 foot elevation. Ground is often frozen mid-season, requiring sharp shoes with snow poppers. No jumping required, as most fixtures are vast unfenced contiguous ranches. Western attire and tack acceptable. Average hunts range from 12 to 25 miles covered in 3 to 5 hours.

Country is approximately 20,000 acres located in three areas south of Denver, Colorado, consisting of scrub oak, pine covered hills, meadows and grasslands. Natural obstacles include drops, ditches, gulches, down timber and man made jumps in fence lines and gates for non-jumpers Almost always two fields: fast jumping and a slower, non-jumping.

Country lies in Clarke County, in Warren County north of Front Royal, in Shenandoah County north of Route 675, in Frederick County south of Route 50 and west of Route 11 in Virginia and in Jefferson County, West Virginia. It is mainly rolling farmland with open pastureland and orchards. Jumps are chicken coops, some tiger traps, post-and-rails with a few stone walls.

Terrain is open tall grass prairie pasture, hills and valleys.

The first comprises six venues across about 20 by 25 miles of grassland and arroyos south of the Grand Canyon. The second comprises four venues across 7 by 12 miles of grassland and Pinyon and Juniper forest north of the San Fransico Peaks. The third comprises about 8 by 8 miles in the valley of the Little Colorado River near Meteor Crater. All hunt country is essentially unpopulated and sparsely fenced with few dirt roads or tracks.

Country is located in central and upper Bucks County along the Delaware River. In central Bucks, where the kennels are located, the townships of Buckingham, Solebury and Warwick are hunted. In upper Bucks, the townships of Durham, Springfield, Tinicum and Nockamixon are hunted. Both are hill and dale countries mainly devoted to farming. Many of the ridges are deeply wooded for miles and rides have been cut through. Valleys are interlaced with streams and water jumps are frequently encountered. Jumps are post-and-rails and chicken coops in wire fencing. A stout three-quarter bred is preferred.

It is comprised mostly of large grazing farms with some thoroughbred farms. Fences are coop panels and stone walls. The hunt was established by General Roger Williams in 1880.

It has patches of woods and wood lined creeks and is paneled with chicken coops and some post-and-rails. An additional country in Oldham County is approximately 8 miles NS by 4 miles EW, Ohio River creek watershed country with inviting ridge top meadows. The country of Mercer County, KY comprises the Historic Farm known as the "Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill". This farm is approximately 3,000 acres in size. It is composed of fields of Native grasses with some cropland. Deep drainage ravines with creeks feeding into the KY River are situated throughout. The country of Lincoln and Garrard Counties, KY comprises approximately 9,000 acres, primary cropland and pastures along both sides of the Dix River and rolling pastures with wood lined, drainage creeks.

The terrain is sandy with flat, open fields, woodlands and swamps. The plantations range in size from 1,000 to 23,000 acres. Panels include aikens, logs, ditches and other natural obstacles; none exceed 3' and most are optional. Any sound horse is suitable.

Country is bisected by the James River and ranges from rolling open meadows to steep ravines and spurs of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Many areas are heavily wooded. There are coops, post-and-rails, logs and some stone walls as jumps in the cultivated areas. Many creeks lace through the territory. On the south side of the James River in Buckingham County west of Route 15 all the way to, in some parts, Appomattox County. This land is mostly rolling hills and woodlands.

The terrain is rolling, moderately wooded, paneled with coops, post-and-rails, log-capped stone walls, well gated for non-jumpers and crossed by two main streams from south to north.

The country is rolling hills, pine and hardwood forsts, open grass fields and crop lands, cut over forest with various terrain including rocky and sandy footings. The obstacles include tight woodland trails, river crossing, coops, post and rail fences and natural jumps. All breeds of horses are suitable depending on the field (3) in which you ride.

Country is approximately 12 miles wide by 25 miles long and is located in SW corner of Lancaster County, PA and extreme SW portion of Chester County, PA. The area is paneled with coups and logs and post and rail. The Octorara River Valley into the Goat Hill Serpentine offers moderate terrain while the Susquehanna River Hills offers some beautiful cliffs (that foxes favor) as well as open farmland. With the open fields and rocky narrow trails, any breed of horse can be both challenged and accommodated on any given hunting day.

Terrain is broad fields, forest and wetlands. Jumps are natural objects some chicken coops, and ditches.

Near Westtown, NY about 10 square miles with woods and hayfields, all jumps optional. Near Vernon, NJ about 10 square miles, preserved farmland and dairy, logs, stone walls-all optional.

Country in Litchfield County Connecticut is approximately 18 miles wide and 20 miles long. The countryside is picturesque with rolling farm land, meadows, woodlands, stonewalls and streams. Fences are stone walls, logs, coops, gates and posts and rails.
