THE HUNT STAFF BENEFIT & DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION

The Hunt Staff Benefit & Development Foundation (HSBF) recognizes and appreciates the integral part that professional hunt staff play in mounted hunting with hounds. Most professionals choose this career and lifestyle for their love of hounds and hunting.

Founded July 27, 1938, the HSBF provides monetary assistance to hunt staff professionals and their families in financial need. Grants are made to those whose circumstances (health or financial crises) warrant our help. Widows and family members of deceased hunt professionals may be eligible for HSBF grants.

The HSBF also assists the MFHA Foundation in its educational mission for professional development for hunt staff, via the Professional Development Program, which is jointly sponsored by the two Foundations.

If you would like to find out more about the HSBF, please contact the Office. The grant application is below.

To make contributions by mail, send checks payable to the Hunt Staff Benefit & Development Foundation.
