Rose Tree-Blue Mountain Hunt is an enthusiastic private hunt committed to upholding the rich tradition of foxhunting with a pack of ~30 couple of crossbred hounds kenneled in New Bloomfield, PA. Hunting days are Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and hounds go out 80-90 days per year. RT-BMH was formed through the 2015 merger of Rose Tree Hunt, the oldest subscription hunt in America on record that began in 1859, and Blue Mountain Hunt, originally a farmer pack started by Sean Cully and registered with the MFHA in 2011. The substantial hunt country is spread across Berks, Cumberland, Perry, and York Counties in Pennsylvania. The club strives to provide members with great hunting, consistent schedules, and open country in a close-knit family atmosphere. A sense of community is paramount, and the hunt works hard to maintain positive landowner relationships across the hunt country.
